Parks

In Greenfield Park, unlit parks are closed to the public at 9 p.m. and lit parks are closed at 11 p.m.

In Saint-Hubert's parks, it is prohibited to make excessive noise, to loiter, to cut or damage trees and property, or to stay in parks between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Parks located in Vieux-Longueuil are closed between 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

Games, sports or activities are allowed only in areas designated and equipped for these purposes. Bicycles and vehicles are not allowed except on trails and other locations provided for that purpose.

In all cases, carrying, drinking or selling alcoholic beverages is prohibited in Longueuil's parks. Barbecues and fires and also prohibited.

Public areas

The nuisance by-law also applies to public areas, such as the metro station, and establishes closing hours for arcades. It also contains provisions regarding the use of tennis courts, skating rinks, swimming pools, saunas, and other buildings and facilities that are the property of the borough of Vieux-Longueuil.

Metro station

It is prohibited to sit or loiter on stairs; to lean against a shop window; to lie down anywhere; to use the area for physical activities or play sports; to use a radio, tape recorder, musical instrument or any other equipment that emits sound or noise that can be heard by others.

It is also prohibited to roughhouse or squabble even for fun; to go up the escalators the wrong way; to loiter in the public restrooms; to talk loudly or sing; to solicit, to request or collect a donation, or any other charity.
